Course Overview:
This “Vehicle and Machinery Banksmen Safety Course” aims to provide the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to persons carrying out vehicle Banksman duties. At the end of the course, successful candidates should be able to guide a large goods vehicles, equipment, machineries safely and efficiently into a designated area using hand and arm signals.

- Banks man -Introduction
- Roles and responsibilities of the Banksman
- Legal Requirements in relation to workplace machineries, vehicles
- Risks involved in Banksman operations
- Different types of vehicles, machineries and plants used in the working area and their blind spots
- Safe operations
- Banksman Code of signals
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used for Banksman Job
- Good and Bad practices
- Accident Case Studies

- Results will be published after the end of the course, and Cards/Certificates will be distributed to competent learners as per the Assessor’s assessment outcome.
